21st Century Square references Malevich’s “Black Square,” which marked the dawn of modernism. In the 21st century, this form changes its meaning: the square vanishes into a point, space closes, and instead of an open future, humanity faces disappearance. The work serves as a warning — if equilibrium is not found, progress may end in self-destruction. It is not the end of modernism but the possible end of civilization without balance.
